The Eggboard Circle pendant light creates a high-quality environment combining acoustic wellbeing and optimum lighting. Its cylindrical body comprises a panel with a sinusoidal profile, which is the characteristic feature of the Eggboard family of lights. This geometry helps reduce echoing in the space since the cylindrical cavity captures the sound waves. The material was chosen for its sound-absorbing properties, which has an optimal effect most notably on human speech frequencies.
Eggboard Circle is made of double-sided material: the coloured exterior has the same texture as its related models, but the interior is covered in white felt to optimise the reflection of light. Its cylindrical geometry is not only extremely effective at absorbing sound, but also partially screens direct view of the main emission source. The light comes in two sizes. Both combine direct and diffuse indirect emission that can be controlled by means of conventional systems or with the Artemide app.
Made from recycled materials, its sound-absorbing properties paired with energy-efficient, comfortable diffuse emission make Eggboard Circle a light that, thanks to its decorative aesthetics, is suitable for office environments and homes alike.
